Christmas Spirit...Please Come Back!

First let me just say that I LOVE CHRISTMAS! It's by far, my absolute favorite holiday of the year. Unfortunately though, I think I've learned my lesson about jumping the gun for the Christmas holiday. Seems I've lost my "holiday mojo" and it's quite depressing. I was so ready for Thanksgiving to be over and to put up the tree, it was up before Dec 1 even hit! I was listening to Christmas music and trying to organize a gift exchange in the family even before Thanksgiving...smh. Now it's almost a week before Christmas day and I've lost my happy, jolly spirit. I really hope I can get it back soon. Snow would probably help, but looking at this warm a** forecast, that doesn't look promising...

Luckily, I have a cookie bake scheduled for this upcoming Sunday at the house so maybe that will help. I sure hope so. Sigh, ok...back to listening to my holiday mix at work.
